Biography

Kevin Krausert

Kevin Krausert is the CEO & Co-Founder of Avatar Innovations, which is a leading- edge energy innovation and investment company. Kevin has spent the last two decades on the cutting edge of energy innovation in a variety of executive leadership and governance roles in the oil and gas industry. He began his career in the energy industry as a roughneck on Northern Alberta oilrigs and rose through the ranks to become the CEO of Canada's oldest drilling company. Kevin has been an articulate and major champion for unlocking the energy transition solutions inside oil and gas for a better future while leading a major corporation through the disruption of the Canadian energy industry. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science from McGill University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business and serves on the steering committees of both the Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN) and the Energy Futures Lab (EFL).
